The Foundation
The formal installation of Designathon Works foundation (formerly Stichting Unexpect) took place on March 3rd, 2014.
All activities of the foundation take place under the brand name: Designathon Works.

REMUNERATION
Board members do not receive any remuneration for their board activities, as stated in the articles of association.
Designathon Works has a moderate wage policy for management team and freelancers. Designathon Works aims at a salary level and working conditions that match the responsibilities.
Employees do not receive bonuses or 13th months
ANBI
The Annual Report 2016 is the fundament for the application of the ANBI status. We are confident that the “Belastingdienst” (Dutch Tax Authority) will authorize Stichting Designathon Works with the ANBI status by December 2017. This means that Stichting Designathon Works will be seen as ‘Algemeen Nut beogende Instelling’, meaning that the foundation is a non-profit, aiming to have as much impact as possible and holds a certain tax exemption status.
